GRÈGÓR BELIBI MINYA
PainterGrègór Belibi Minya, painter and visual artist, was born in France in 1989 to a Hungarian mother and a Cameroonian father. He lives and works in the Ain region, but remains very attached to Lyon, the city where he lives. In his work, he mixes paintings, textures, colours and densities with a musicality all his own. He is the youngest artist in the gallery, but he already has a rich background – he is a graduate of the Beaux-Arts – and shows an existential need to create. In this way, he shares his vision of the world, filled with different emotions, sometimes vivid, sometimes darker. For the artist, quoting Tino Sehgal, “Art is the refuge of spirituality in a secular society”.
In his paintings and drawings, Grègór reveals the mental constructs of his inner reality, offering an original and constantly renewed body of work.
