FREDERIC KHODJA
PainterFRÉDÉRIC KHODJA
Born in 1964, lives and works between Caluire and the Beaujolais region.
For more than twenty years, Frédéric Khodja has been developing a
consistent artistic practice, marked by numerous solo exhibitions in France and
abroad, notably in Lyon, Paris, Sète, and Collioure. Among these are
“Past Time Paradise” (URDLA, Villeurbanne, and Galerie Rue Antoine, Paris,
2025), “Icilà” (Galerie Rue Antoine, Paris, 2024), and “Le rêve du rêve” (Paris,
2020), reflecting his regular presence on the French art scene. At the same time, he
has participated in numerous group exhibitions in France and abroad, such as
Art Paris Art Fair (Grand Palais, 2020), On n’est pas des fauves (Collioure Museum of
Modern Art, 2023–2024), as well as international projects such as
Mouvances (BAC, Geneva, 2012), a presentation at the Meno Parkas Gallery in
Kaunas (Lithuania, 2012), and exhibitions in Baghdad (French Cultural
Center and Dijla Gallery, 2002). This international dimension helps to establish
his visibility beyond the French art scene. His work is now part of
several public and private collections, both in France and abroad,
notably at the MRAC in Sérignan, the Museum of Modern Art in Collioure,
the URDLA in Villeurbanne, as well as the French Cultural Center in Baghdad and the
M+M Auer Collection in Geneva. At the same time, he is developing a significant body of editorial work,
with projects such as Past Time Paradise in 2025 and Diaphanes in 2024 and other artist’s books and literary collaborations.
He is choised by Valérie EYMERIC for “Gardens#3” in summer 2026 and future collaboration.
