This new exhibition will be an opportunity to unveil the repetitive approach of artists with unique styles. Whether it’s their working method or subject matter, repetition here asserts autonomy in the face of utilitarian and decorative practices.

Ultimately, “PATTERNS” was born out of a desire to pause for a moment on these motifs, these gestures, these repetitions that compose in many ways numerous artworks, each so distinct. It is the stubbornness, almost absurd, that has attracted our curiosity here. But ultimately, this apparent absurdity, by becoming aware of itself, becomes liberating, emancipatory—it becomes the creative gesture, the subject, the system.
