Un Eden à soi | Jade Fenu by Kelly Grosset-Curtet.
He’s still young on the art scene, but Jade Fenu possesses a certain something that channels our gaze and denotes a true pictorial maturity. The artist’s multiple influences intermingle, from Japanese prints to 19th-century symbolism. His works, from which emerge an explosion of color and form that makes us think of a kind of collage, are intriguing. This is partly due to her technique. Jade Fenu works by trial and error: he scratches, he erases, he covers. The different stages of creation give his paintings their unique perspective, depth and material effects. His painting is abstract, somewhere between that of Arcimboldo and Hokusai, leaving us to imagine natural, poetic places.
