From border to another & In situ by the wayside | Andréa Vamos by Pierre Aimar.

These series experiment with the place of the image. Where is it located? The aim is to explore a focus in search of light, color and line. Between realism and abstraction, the photographic structure is juxtaposed with the landscape. Sites are selected for their minimalist, natural compositions. Between painting and photography, the idea is to photograph an ephemeral pictorial installation against a backdrop of reality.

Andréa Vamos declares “Between Montenegro and Serbia, I’m experimenting with two completely contrasting landscapes: one is airy, maritime and endless, the other is charged, mountainous and dark. This correspondence invites a poetic mediation, a form of magical apparition that marvels the everyday”.
