For this session #9, the two artists are showcasing contemporary figurative art, or the art of observing reality and shaping it according to our perceptions, interpretations and experiences. Their work is not about reproducing reality, but rather about merging our view of the world with our imagination, inviting viewers to question themselves. Violaine Desportes and Christophe Moreau are both adept at black-and-white drawing, presenting their series of student kits entitled ‘Autopsie’ and ‘Anonymes’ respectively.
