What interests the artist is “the plastic dialectic of vision, the way the image is presented. The almost psychoanalytical way, with what it shows and what it doesn’t show”. The association of photography with the computer gives a characteristic aspect to the work. Images captured around the world and then superimposed dislodge fixity and blur clarity. The work becomes a visual proposition that gains in thickness. Depth is achieved by another means that is no longer classical perspective, but the technical tricks inspired by the adventure of Opart and Transfiguring.
