The artist uses new technologies to explore visual vibrations, being ‘the first to introduce micro-perforated strips from the industrial world into an artistic expression’. The dots here are holes, and the work reveals itself by obscuring the initial image. We see as through a sieve, as through memory. You can see the strength of the line, a slightly stiff drawing, reminiscent of a comic strip. Yet the image is smooth. You walk past it, the landscape changes, the eye is stimulated to dream.
